Dylan Peterson President

Dylan Peterson is now President of the museum.

He graduated from Santa Barbara High School in 1995 and received a Bachelor’s degree in biochemistry from UCSB in 2004.  Shortly thereafter he acquired his Master’s degree in biochemistry.  He has  published multiple research papers on Alzheimer’s disease but he is currently the Academic Coordinator for the upper division undergraduate laboratories in the Molecular, Cellular and Developmental Biology department at UCSB.    My father, Tom Peterson, is the Vice President and curator of the Carriage Museum.  Having been raised around horses and the western culture of Santa Barbara has lead me to explore the rich and exciting history of our community.
